Hello,

I have a tour group of individuals coming into Los Angeles for the Rose Bowl and Parade Dec 30 to Jan 2.I am in need of 1 to 4 (different number each day) tour guides primarily to accompany the group to 2 sightseeing events on Dec 31st.As well as to the Rose Bowl and Parade on Jan 1st.As well as1 event on Jan 2nd.

I will have the guests staying at the Marriott LAX as well as the Sheraton Grand downtown hotel.

Below are the number of guides and times each [sensitive content]low that are the daily details and responsibilities of the tour:

Dec 30 - 2 Hospitality Desk people (7 am to 5 pm).

1 at Marriott LAX and

1 at Sheraton Grand Hotel Dec 31 - 2 People at Marriott Hospitality Desk/ Tour Guide (7am to 5 pm) 1 person from Sheraton Grand/ Tour Escort (730 am to 5 pm)
 Jan 1 - 1 from Marriott LAX (5 am to 7 pm) 1 from Marriott LAX (5 am to 4 pm) Rose Parade Only Group 1 from Sheraton Grand (530 am to 7 pm)

1 from Sheraton Grand (5 am to 4 pm) Rose Parade Only Group

Jan 2 - 1 person from Marriott LAX (7 am to 12 noon) pick up at Sheraton Grand then to Pasadena for Post Rose Float Viewing

The descriptive requirements for the tour each day are as follow:

Dec 30-A person is needed for the Hospitality Desks at each of the Marriott LAX and the Sheraton Grand Hotels.Hours will be 7 am to 5 pm.1 person needed at each hotel.I will look into getting daily parking passes for those 2 individuals.I will have approximately 100 guests at Marriott and 50 guests at the Sheraton Grand hotel.
Hospitality Desk persons are to distribute Name badges, Stadium clear plastic tote bags, Rose Bowl Programs to those going to the (Rose Parade Programs to those going only to the Parade) game and parade, Daily Breakfast coupons, and answer any pertinent questions. 

This is a day of leisure with no planned activities for our guests.


Dec 31

Float Decoration Tour – Marriott LAX

Hospitality Desk/ Tour Escort Person should be on duty at 7 am to answer any questions.As well as to help assemble the group with a 2nd person who will be an guide for one of 2 buses to go to the Float.

Decoration Tour that will depart from the Marriott LAX at730 am.The guides should accompany the group on the 2 Lion Express Buses[sensitive content]to the Phoenix Decorating Co.at the Irwindale Rose Parade float viewing barn.The viewing there will be between 9 am and 10 am. 

Float Decoration Tour – Sheraton Grand

Hospitality Desk person at the Sheraton Grand will be the tour escort person and should be on duty at 730 am to answer any questions.As well as to assemble the group for the Float Decoration Tour that will depart from there at 800 am.The guides should accompany the group on the Lion Express Bus[sensitive content]to the Phoenix Decorating Co.in Irwindale.The viewing there will be between 9am and 10 am.

Los Angeles-Beverly Hills-Hollywood Tour

Each of the 3 buses will depart the Irwindale Float Viewing barn at approximately 10 am to go on a sightseeing tour of L.A.Civic Center, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood.

The buses should drive by the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Cathedral, the Disney Concert Hall, and Olvera Street.

Then on to the Hollywood/Highland Complex for a brief stop off the buses for picture taking.

Then to Farmers Market for (to be paid on their own) lunch.

Then drive-thru Beverly Hills to point out some of the sites such as Rodeo Drive.

Then back to their respective hotels.Arriving back at approximately 5 pm.

Jan 1

500 am Breakfast’s (This may also be just a Grab and Go Breakfast - TBD) at the Social Market and Eatery Restaurant in the Marriott LAX.

530 am Grab and Go Breakfast in the Sheraton Grand Hotel lobby.

530 am 2 guides are needed for 2 Lion Express buses that will depart from the Marriott LAX and head to the Sheraton Grand Hotel to go together with the buses from the Sheraton.One of those buses will only load those going to the Rose Parade.The other bus from the Marriott LAX will be full of those going to the Rose Bowl Game and Parade.

Originating from the Sheraton Grand Hotel there will be 1 large motor coach bus and a 24 passenger van.The 1 motor coach bus will load those going to the Rose Bowl and Parade.The 24 passenger van will load those going to the Rose Parade Only.The 2 buses coming from the Marriott LAX will travel together with those 2 buses originating from the Sheraton Grand hotel.Leaving the Sheraton at 6 am to head to the Rose Parade via the Pasadena 110 Freeway Route and off at Arroyo Parkway

The buses will park in the Ralph’s Market parking lot at 315 W.Green St lot location in Pasadena.Our Parade seats are at 450 and 400 [sensitive content]lorado Blvd.Both seat locations are about a block from the parking location.

Box Lunches will be prepared and picked up from that Ralph’s Market at 7 am and will be placed in the undercarriages of the 2 buses that are going to the Rose Bowl Game by the tour escorts of each of the buses during the parade.

After the Parade, the 1 bus from the Marriott LAX and 1 van from the Sheraton with those who will only be attending the Rose Parade will head to El Cholo’s restaurant in Santa Monica for a luncheon.Then to Santa Monica Beach and Pier for a while.Then to drop the passengers off at their 2 respective hotels

After the Parade, the 2 buses with those going to the Rose Bowl game as well will reload and head to the Rose Bowl Stadium parking lot.(Make sure the Bus Parking Passes are displayed in the window for the Parade lot and Rose Bowl lot).Be sure to inform those on each bus to take note of the bus isle number that their bus is parked at the Rose Bowl as after the game the lot will be full with nearly 100 buses and difficult to find one`s bus.Once arriving at the Rose Bowl Parking lot the box lunches will be distributed from the bus undercarriage.

Have the Tour guide to give their cell phone number to each of their people to assist in case someone gets lost.Each Tour guide  also brings the large BARKER TOURS signs to also assist your bus members in finding their bus.Allow a few mins for those that may come back late after the Rose Bowl Game due to celebrating for their team.

Those 2 buses should head back to the Hotels after the game after checking each person back on.Arriving back to the Hotels approx 700 pm

Jan 2

7 am - 1 Tour guide needed for a 24 passenger Lion Express Van to pick up half the group from the Marriott LAX Hotel.Head to the Sheraton Grand Hotel to pick up the other half.Proceed to Victory Park in Pasadena for the Post Rose Parade Float Viewing.The Van will park.Tickets for the float viewing will be given to the Tour guide prior that morning at 7 am.The Van should reload at approximately 11 am to head back first to the Sheraton Grand then to the Marriott LAX for drop off.

Los Angeles-Beverly Hills-Hollywood Tour

Each of the 3 buses will depart the Irwindale Float Viewing barn at approximately 10 am to go on a sightseeing tour of L.A.Civic Center, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood.
