Erkan was overbooked, but we were lucky to get his colleague, Ece. She was fabulous! She is getting her masters in Istanbul history and tourism, so she was able to give us a good education, while enthusiastically sharing myths and odd facts that you could never find in a tour book. She even took us through some back alleys so we could see real local craftsmen. Best of all: she was fun to be around!! I won't lie, there was a LOT of walking on uneven surfaces and up/down many steps, but was worth it.

Ekran organized a guide for me during my 2 day visit to Istanbul.

She took us everywhere we wanted to go and gave us a good narration of places and events.
