There were 12 of us (4 kids) . The goal was to see as much of Israel as we could in 2 weeks. Joe made it happen by masterfully planning the whole trip. We did not wait in a single line. Hotel stays, transportation, meals - all fell into place perfectly. The itinerary was packed and accomodated kids' activities - still was entertaining for adults. We managed to see the whole country and did not feel exhausted. Joe is a masterful story-teller. When touring Masada, he was dressed as King Herod. While telling stories, he would change hats to indicate a change of character and time. Other tourists were stopping to take pictures of Joe. :) Not surprisingly, all kids still remember the story of King Herod The Great. The whole trip was an incredible and memorable experience. I would have never been able to get such a deep understanding of the culture and history and spirituality of the people of Israel if it weren't for Joe - his vast knowledge and the ability to share it in such an entertaining way.
