We had the pleasure of spending the day on a private tour with Joe visiting the Israel Museum and exploring Old Jerusalem.  Joe not only had a wealth of information about the history of Jerusalem, but he also had great insight into the cultural and religious differences  and complexities that make up Old Jerusalem.  His comprehensive view of the sites we were exploring added a layer of interest that we found to be quite rewarding.  Joe is very friendly with a wry sense of humor that we found to be very engaging.  He went out of his way to make the day not only educational, but entertaining with his unique perspective on things.   We highly recommend his services!

We took a trip to Israel this past summer with our synagogue. Our Education Director handpicked Joe Freedman as our tour guide, as she had worked with him previously and knows how special he is. His passion and knowledge was evident from the start. He added depth, meaning, context and fun to everything that we did and every place we visited.
