We are two guys in the forties who were guided by Roya in Yazd. She is a very nice person and a really professional guide. Her English is very good. We enjoyed to be guided by her a lot.

Personalised warm-hearted service

Reviewed December 29, 2018

Roya is warm, wise and knowledgeable. She speaks English well and is a skilful driver. She was passionate and well informed about the places that she guided me around, as well as some I visited without a guide. She took special note of my  interests and suggested places that I might find worthwhile and enjoyable to visit. She also contacted local people in my areas of interest for more information and to answer queries that she wasn't sure about. Her very personalised, warm-hearted service went above and beyond the call of duty.

Iran is a truly magnificent country of superb landscapes, ancient history, splendid architecture and especially its welcoming people. Roya  is the embodiment of my deep experience of Iran, the journey of my lifetime.

A woman of warmth, knowledge and integrity

Reviewed November 18, 2018

We met Roya because we had previously completed an 8 day tour with her husband Ali Jadidian (also on tourhq).

We had three days of tours with Roya and Ali combined which included a transfer from Isfahan to Yazd and took in  old towns, caravanserai, wind towers, Zoroastrian temples, the towers of silence, mosques, Persian gardens, an ancient castle and the desert.

While we were in Yazd Roya was always there to help.  She told us about a handicraft exhibition and when we said we would be interested she not only took us there but she negotiated great prices for us.  When she took us around the old town she refused to accept commission from the shop she took us to insisting we be charged Iranian prices.

Our final day with Roya was a transfer from Yazd to Shiraz taking in Pasargad, the Necropolis and Persepolis.  It was an amazing day and Roya's excellent commentary added depth to our experience.

Roya is an excellent driver with good English and a kind and generous heart.

I became very fond of both her and Ali, not only do they embody Persian hospitality they have a depth of integrity and honesty which influences all their dealings.

It has been a joy and a privilege to have them both as guides.
