We were so lucky we chose Badri as our guide for our short stay in Nepal . He is more than just a professional tour fuide, he is also a compassioante and thoughtful person. He organised the tour with perfect detail and attention to our needs. Every day , he proved to be the most attentive , genuime and kind guide I have ever met. He always went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. I sometiem struggle with the walking or getting in and put out of low boats - his hand or arm was alweays there to reassure and guide me ! I cannot recommend this person enough. Thank you Badri , you made our holiday the best ever experience !

6 days in Nepal

Reviewed March 9, 2020

March 2020.  Unsurpased communication, organisation, fexibility, attentiveness and friendliness - these sum up our interactions with Badri from well before our arrival to our journey through Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Pokhara, Dampus and back to Kathmandu.  Having spent six days with Badri on our first trip to Nepal it is easy to see why he is rated the top guide.  Thank you Badri for making our trip both pleasurable and memorable.

Excellent Service - Badri Aryal

Reviewed February 28, 2020

I recently went on a trip to Nepal and to Everest  Base Camp in February, 2020. In getting quotations through Tourhq, the one from Badri had the fairest balance between price and what was offered. In particular, he offered enough rest/ acclimatization days to ensure success. He only required a small down payment to get things going. Based on his guidance, I spent the next few months planning my gear, etc.

It was on reaching Nepal, however, that I was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and effort put out  by Badri to make me feel at home. He met me at the airport, got me settled in at the hotel, and took me sightseeing the next day.

I was on my way to Lukla the day after, where I was met by my guide, Bhusan and my porter, Tenzing. Over the next 12 days, they looked after me exceptionally well, matching my pace when my legs got weary going up and down the endless steps and stony paths. They were cheerful, supportive, attentive and knowledgeable companions throughout the journey to EBC and back. Although it was certainly no "walk in the park", they made the experience of going to EBC and Kala Patthar maneageable and exciting, and erased any fears and concerns I may have had. Badri was in contact with my guide throughout the journey, and he spoke with me to check on my well being from time to time.

Badri's hospitality continued when I got back to Kathmandu,  where he took me to a local blacksmith who made a kukhuri for me while I  watched and participated. He saw me off safely at the airport the next day for my long flight home.

In summary, Badri's service and generosity went way, way beyond what was originally offered, and he is a credit to his country and people. I wish to offer him my profound gratitude for making my trip to Nepal a trip of a lifetime.

Well done Badri, and thanks again. I look forward to another visit to your beautiful country.
