We were a large group with diverse interests and MJ managed to plan tours that engaged everyone. She was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make things work for usfrom the very first start of the planning phase. Because of the size of our group, we ended up taking a very long time to decide on what we wanted, and MJ patiently guided us through the process with constant communication, suggestions, and well-thought-out itineraries.Through the entire planning process, she worked hard to help us build the best schedule for ourinterests, and time/money constraints. Her work ethic was incredible, and she inspired confidence even though we had never yet met in person.

Once in the Philippines, our group kept MJ on her toes with all sorts of little (and sometimes big!) curveballs that came our way. Through it all, MJ showed her resourcefulness and ability to adapt to the changing situation. She helped us navigate all the challenges that traveling in a big group could bring. She always had control of the situation!

As for the actual tours, MJ was an awesome guide, with lots of insights into the culture and a cheerful and funny personality. It did not take long for us to feel that she was one of us, part of our group, and not just the guide taking us around. And when she organized tours with different guides, the guides she arranged for us were equally knowledgeable and engaging. She kept up in good hands for our entire trip! It was an incredible experience!

Words cannot express how thrilled I was with Marjorie and our visit to the Philippines!

Marjorie, along with her bright personalty was with our family every step of the way.   She helped us learn about the culture, customs, geography, food, and anything else we could possibly ask her!  Activities that we were interested in included museums, outdoors, island-hopping, etc.  Wherever possible, she provided us with authentic Filipino experiences and not just 'touristy' activities, although I have no doubt that Marjorie will be able to suggest appropriate activities for whatever type of experience you're looking for.  I especially appreciate that at the end of every day, Marjorie gave us the time to meet and exactly what we would be needing for the next day's adventure.

This being the first time that I've traveled outside of North America, and with some mobility issues, I was a bit apprehensive about my ability to participate in some of the activities.  Marjorie tailored our itinerary to match what our group was able to do.  When I found myself struggling to keep up, Marjorie helped me out, even keeping me company while the rest of our party continued on.  She is very in tune and able to read situations, doing her best to insure comfort and enjoyment by all participants.  For our entire party, and the entire trip, Marjorie was extremely accommodating to our needs!

At some points on our trip, we encountered some challenges within our group. Marjorie's creative problem-solving and collaboration  were valuable and very much appreciated!  She was definitely more than just a tour guide for us!

MJ didn't just give us a tour--she helped us learn about the culture and people, and even built in time for us to catch up with distant relatives. From Manila and the Laguna region to Palawan and Olongapo City, MJ guided us through an active, appropriate plan for a group with a range of accessibility needs, including a family member who uses a wheelchair. I highly recommend her! She's a five star guide!
