Claudia Shook-Channells is an outstanding guide. My wife and I were privileged to share a day with her on a wine tour she arranged for us. Everything about the day was memorable. I suggested a couple of possible wineries to visit and she chose two from my list and added two of her own. The latter two were smaller and offered us a unique insight into the wine industry in South Africa. At both, we met with the owners who gave us the history of the winery and their families. Their passion and love for their craft is something one can only experience at small intimate wineries like the ones Claudia suggested and they made this a very special day for us.

Claudia is much more than an outstanding guide who develops a unique schedule that is tailored to exactly what you want. She is knowledgeable, organized, and structured. More importantly, she is also warm, friendly and flexible. It was obvious that she truly cared about us and was willing to adapt on the run so that we had the best experience possible. She gave us an unforgettable day filled with beautiful scenery, wonderful wine and a lot of laughter.

 Claudia was a terrific guide. She picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel. On the way she gave us useful information about CT.  We had booked a few tours with her but she recommended other trips we may wish to go on ourselves. Recommending booking  ahead  a boat trip to Robbin Island for example.  On the trips she took us she was very well informed and made the trip to our liking stopping longer when we wanted or making a change to the stops. She arranged tickets for the summer concert at Kirstenbosch which was a lovely day out. She would give us our own time at the places we visited but stayed with us when we wanted her to.  We are young travellers and it was reassuring to know if we needed anything we could contact her and she was more than happy to help. Would totally recommend Claudia to any one wanting a special trip around CT and beyond. Oh and Claudia knows the best winery’s to visit in the area.   Had a wonderful trip totally enhanced by Claudia. 

I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful time my guests had in Cape Town whilst under the guidance of Claudia Shook-Chennells. My guests have repeatedly commented on how available Claudia was to escort them to any destination of their liking, always with a spring in her step and wonder in her voice. They changed plans as needed because of the changing weather; visited the same place twice to get photographs with different lighting conditions and all this done positively without concerns.

My clients have come away very happy with the experience and comment that they would use Claudia again if ever the situation presented itself.
