Htin Lin is very timely, honest, knowledgeable, and friendly! He took us on an incredibly thorough 9-hour tour of Inle Lake for a very reasonable price. Stops included: the five day rotating market, a silversmith village, a lotus weaving shop, Nan Pan market, Pheung Daw Oo pagoda, and In Dein! Htin Lin was very patient in waiting for us while we explored and answering our questions, though his English wasn't always the most clear. He pointed out interesting sights and explained their significance, both while on the boat and on foot. The only caution I'd advise is to watch what you eat, since the food around Inle is often not sanitary. Overall, my partner and I were both very happy by the end of the beautiful tour. 

We had Htin Lin for 2 days during our stay and he brought us around inle lake and hiking the next day. The hike was accompanied by his friend, Win Tai, who was also very friendly and fun to chat with. Despite me being slow on an easy climb, they took their time and constantly turned to checked if I was okay.  The warmth received and willingness to share about their city made this trip very fulfilling and complete.
