Haval should be your first choice as a tour guide when visiting Erbil. He is extremely nice and friendly and has deep knowledge of the history and culture of Kurdistan. I booked my two day tour at very short notice, and Haval put together a fascinating itinerary including sights within Erbil plus the Hamilton Road, Lalish, Acre and the Mar Mattai monastery. He also knows great places to eat and drink tea, and is also a safe driver. So, all in all, I recommend Haval to any visitor to Erbil.

Haval really knows where to go and what to see, and he will show you all the beautiful wonders of Iraqi Kurdistan. The drivning is smooth, safe and comfortable and Haval knows exactly how to deal with people, Peshmerga/police or Iraqi army men at checkpoints. He will also present you the culinary dishes of his home country (delicious, healthy, and the yogurt is fantastic) .
