I am a blogger and arrange trips.  I have seen many great guides and manypoor guides. I would absolutely trust in Serd.  He was very professional as was the driver.  The vehicle was very comfortable and all of my requests were carried out to the fullest.  His price was fair and I was very happy to have excellent communication and see the sites I came to see. The decision to book a guide for our family trip was certainly a rushed one and had to be completed within a short period of time-- right before we flew, we only booked 2 days prior to it! Despite giving him all the anxiety with our tight schedule of booking, Phonepaseuth Sengsavath (Serd) was understanding and answered each of our questions patiently.

Right from the moment we landed, down to the minute we bid farewell, Serd gave us a wonderful experience in Laos. Through him, we experienced not only the hospitality of the Laotian but also gained understanding of the local culture and religious practices. The world views that he has and hopes to pass them on to his children were really inspiring to hear. The custom tour that Serd provided were also rather flexible, allowing us to take on options of local experiences as we wanted to. Serd also gave us the opportunity to practice local cultures (e.g offering alms to monks), going to fresh markets, and tasting some of the local snacks. Being an experienced tourguide, Serd is knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions in regards to places we visited as well as the cultural practices in Laos. Many of the times, Serd was ready to go the extra mile to provide us with more information and visits to places of interests.

Serd is also a friendly guide who made us felt as though we were on travels with a friend rather than a guide. He would not hesitate to share local jokes, his own travel stories and life experiences that always added a touch of reality to his explanations.

Overall, we had enjoyed our visit to the beutiful country, Laos with Serd as our guide. Would certainly hope to return and visit other parts of Laos that he speak so beautifully of. 

From the moment he picked me up at the airport until he dropped us at the airport, I enjoyed every moment with him. Serd speaks excellent English, and has great knowledge of his country, on Bouddhisme, Lao culture, Lao food, Lao history... Serd is a great guide with a friendly and kind personality. He knows the best places, he does the best to help you out and show you around. I had a phantastic time, I can highly recommend him.
