Albert Williams owns and operates a truly outstanding company -- Belize Magnificent Mayan Tours (BZM). Albert arranged everything for us -- pick up at our hotel, lunch, stops along the way (catered to our interests). We spent two days with Albert and Rudy Neal, who works with him. The first day we toured Barton Creek Cave, which was eerily magnificent and situated in a spectacular setting in the jungle. The canoe trip into the cave was unforgettable. The second day we toured the incredible Mayan ruins at Caracol -- an unforgettable experience in which we learned so much about Mayan history and culture, as well as the wildlife and botany of Mountain Pine Ridge and the Caracol region. The entire day was unforgettable. We spent 8 days in Belize (including 5 nights on Ambergris Caye) and these two days with BZM were our favorite. Albert was friendly, professional, prompt and attentive. When he found out we were interested in birds, he went out of his way to build opportunities for birdwatching into both days we spent with BZM. Rudy has incredible birding skills. Not only is he incredibly good at birding by ear (essential in thick forest habitats), he was able to conjure up the birds he heard by reproducing their calls - way beyond pishing. He also had an excellent knowledge of Mayan culture. Albert and Rudy made both of our excursions enjoyable and unforgettable. It was like spending two days with two good friends. At both Barton Creek Cave and Caracol we felt like we'd won the lottery with our guides. The other guides we observed seemed to be far less engaged with their clients -- simply putting in the time and reciting scripted material. Not so with Albert, Rudy and Belize Magnificent Mayan Tours! You can't go wrong with BZM!!!

This was a fantastic experience, not only because of the cave itself, but the knowledge of the guide. He capably led our group through the jungle hike and cave excursion, providing insight on things we saw and drawing attention to things we might have otherwise missed. He also mixed in a sense of humor, which helped ease the tension of one member of our group who was tentative about caves and put her at ease. The lunch was better than expected and this tour was a highlight of our group's experience in Belize. Highly recommend Albert Williams!

We visited Xunantunich, Che Chem Ha Cave, and Tikal in the span of two days. It was an amazing experience, and mostly because Albert planned it efficiently, timely, and communication was prompt via email. I like how a lunch was prepared and Albert went out of his way to provide a better trip by allowing us to visit a lake and gift shops, which were not part of the itinerary.
