While she had a pleasant demeanor and tried to put together an itinerary to suit our interests, Anano wasn't well-versed in Georgian history or its role in the region and world in recent (and past) decades. Although we had expressed an interest in exploring Georgian cuisine, no forethought had seemingly gone into restaurant selection for lunch and we ended up at a very touristy spot with an international menu and a handful of Georgian specialties. Very disappointing. 

The driver was her friend. A pleasant woman--but a dirty car and constantly smoking. 

There are probably more professional options in Tbilisi.
