I went on the Annapurna trek recently with another trekker and a guide we hired from our hostel. On the first day of hiking, we ran into two other hikers who had hired Mani as their guide. For the rest of the trip, our two groups essentially merged and I got to know Mani quite well. He is probably the most humble man I have met and he guides with compassion and knowledge. Everytime I met up with his two trekkers, they would talk about all the things they had learned from Mani along the way. He has gentle way about him and was great about keeping his trekkers safe. I met a lot of other groups a long the trek and was always sad for them and their guides. Mani is of top quality and I alread miss his pressence on the trail. I can't give any compliment higher than that.

Mani was an excellent tour guide for us. He is very knowlegable about the trails and routes. I felt completely safe when we were trekking with him and he always was giving us safety tips and looking out for our group. In addition to being an excellent tour guide, Mani became a friend of our group. He helped us find the best accommodations at each village, ate dinner with us, and played games. We saw other guides who kept to themselves and didn't socialize with their trekkers, but Mani was one of us! I am so glad we had Mani as our guide and would definitely take him again when I return to Nepal for more treks in the future. 

We are so glad to have had Mani as our guide! He was responsible, considerate of our needs, kind, pointed out any views we may have wanted to see and he became our friend. He has great knowledge of the terrain and human limits within them. We felt safe and happy with Mani and I recommend him, absolutely!
