The minute we met up with Fabian, we knew instantly that we were in good hands.

Our pre trip communication was excellent and we specifically requested seeing parts of the city that were far from the typical "must see" tourist attractions.

We especially wanted to explore the contemporary art scene and Fabian made the extra effort to bring us to off the beaten path local art studios....where we were able to engage directly with the artists about their works and  their inspirations.

Throughout our adventures with Fabian, we could feel his deep passion for both Quito and Ecuador....no topic was off limits and his knowledge of both historic and contemporary events made for vibrant and enlightening conversations 

Highly recommend Fabian for those seeking local authenticity...and kindness.

Quito fue más de lo que me esperaba gracias a Fabián. Su conocimiento de la ciudad, de su ciudad, va más allá de fechas y acontecimientos históricos relevantes, lo que hace que Quito se sienta más cerca y atractiva. Por encima de su puntualidad, paciencia, buen hacer como guía y de ese conocimiento que ya he comentado, Fabián es un tipo con el que apetece tomar un café y escuchar lo que cuenta. Sus palabras siempre suman algo nuevo de Quito. Una ciudad que he descubierto gracias a Fabián, quien ha hecho que quiera regresar pronto a Ecuador.  

I had the chance to work with him in a play about the history of the Independence of Quito. He was a very good teacher and director and the group was of 20 teens that enjoyed a lot the experience. We performed in the formar National Museum. As a part of training, he took us to the Historical District in order to recognize the places and historical characters. We learned so much and the best part of all: It was not boring! I highly recommend him as a tour guide.
