Htein Lin knows his stuff. This was evident in his one-to-one guiding with me (yes, I was a solo traveler). He exhibited patience at the airport and immediately told me what to do when he met me - paying for admission fees to sites etc. And he was on time the next morning for the day trip out. His grasp of English is not bad and his knowledge of the city, the relics, the history and culture of it all was impressive. I can only hope I remember as much as he imparted!

All in, he is sanguine and took pains to learn certain language terms and nuances from me - proving that he is as teachable as he shares. 

And yes, he comes highly recommended. 

I was in tour with Htein and a friend of mine last December. Htein welcomed us with a warm smile after long night trip from Yangon to Bagan. He was caring, resourful and gave us lots information as I could get and I do appreciate his kindness during the time he was with us. I had to admit that my friend is very tough customer to handle but also satisfied with the service level provided by Htein. 

Definitely come back and request Htein for the upcoming tour in Myanmar. 

I even recommended friends after the trip. He deserves good rate for the efforts.
