Outstanding experience: exceeded expectation!

Reviewed March 15, 2020

Milda was an amazing and thoroughly delightful tour guide! Her personality invigorated our trip; her knowledge was exceptional (even when we would veer off course and ask about something at random she would know the story); she was so thoughtful in crafting an experience both my mother (age 85) and I could enjoy. I recommend her without any reservation.

Villmools merci, Milda!

Top-notch professional guide for Vilnius and LIthuania

Reviewed August 29, 2018

I had a 3-hour walking tour of Vilnius (old town, university, and Uzupis) in August. I've had several such private tours when traveling to cities where I don't speak the language, and Milda was the best guide so far. She is a licensed pro, not amateur: university degree in tourism, a one-year program as a Lithuanian tour guide, perfect English, wide professional experience, and also personal international travel experience. All this training, experience, and knowledge --- and passion for the city and the job --- came through clearly. I pretty much let her guide the way, and the insider knowledge at each step was a great way to know the city, including its rich history. She was also friendly and was in tune to what extra thing I might want to see, and where I might want to spend a little extra time. Though this was a private tour, she clearly could handle a large group as well, and organize a multi-day tour of the country. I highly recommend.

Vilnius

Reviewed September 6, 2017

In September 2016, I returned to Vilnius. Like with most cities I always try to go on a "free walking tour". The concept of a free walking tour is they are run on a "tips" basis. This means anyone, whatever their budget can join the tour.

The tours are a great introduction to the city and as a visitor I feel I am receiving information from someone who loves their city. Milda took a group of us on a walking tour of Vilnius, We started by learning a few words of Lithuanian, a brief history of Lithuania, and as well as the more visited "tourist sites" Milda showed us interesting parts of the city where there are more locals than tourists. Milda tells interesting stories and anecdotes. The tour lasted about 3 hours. After the tour Milda took us to Busi Trecias,  one of her favourite bars which also served Lithuanian food.

Milda also mentioned her other tours, I am hoping to go on one of these tours when I return later this month.
