Energetic and knowledgeable

Jahid is an incredibly professional and knowledgeable dude, with a lot of experience as a guide and with foreigners. I went on a one day tour with him around Srimangal, and it was just like traveling around with a good mate - although, we started talking before I arrived in Bangladesh so I feel I got to know him quite well! :) Great English and energy, and is totally flexible in creating a plan according to you/your time/your travel style in general.

Jahid is great guide, who can arange everythink, so you can feel relaxed and rely on him. Also He knows many places and many people even   He is young age. With him You can experience " the real Bangladesh " so you can feel like "Local".  As in Bangladesh is such a different culture He is very helpfull to make you feel comfortable and explain everythink how is working, so you can learn a lot from Him about the country and people. With his help is everything much more easy and you can find him like a good friend and talk about any topic thanks his general overwiew.

Don't be fooled by his young age.

I think that the most important thing I would want to know if I were to read rather than write a review for Jahid is whether he delivers what he promises. My answer is that he absolutely does. Before you commit, he will send you an informal plan (possibly through facebook) where he suggests what you do while you are with him, and on which he is very flexible. I suggest that, particularly on trips to his home area, you follow his lead. He will likely take you, as he took us, to tea plantations, to a national park, and other beautiful and characteristic spots. Don't hesitate to hire him, you will see things that you never thought you would, going deeper into the everyday lives of people with a different culture from yours (assuming you're not from south east Asia). An experience definitely worth the price: on the train ride from Dhaka to Sreemangal alone you will understand a lot. Flexibility and open-mindedness are required, as always in the country. I am sure that Jahid  will let you have a very pleasant experience.
