My trip to São Tomé started out very good, but ended bad when I was taken to a clinic by my tour guide. The clinic gave me either bad antibiotics or too much antibiotics which caused me to come down with the "Steven Johnson" Sydrome which basically burns the skin off your body. I have just been discharged from the hospital after a 26 day stay and still have physical therapy and 15 round of antibiotics to take. Life changing experience. São Tomé is beautiful place just be careful what you consume there.
