My friends and I had a short holiday in Kathmandu. But with Deepen as our guide, our trip was full of wonderful memories! Deepen is very knowledgeable of these beautiful temples/stupas and palaces that we went to. Besides the tons of information on these landmarks, we also learned about the ordinary life of the people in Nepal, their cultures, traditions, food, art… Deepen is friendly and courteous, helpful with our many needs. Deepen took me on a full day motorbike tour through Kathmandu where we explored many of the historic temples and stupas of the city. He was extremely knowledgable about Buddhism and Nepalese history, and was able to give me an insiders perspective on the country. Throughout the tour, we stopped at local restaurants serving up authentic Nepalese food, and he brought me to a store with the best curd I've ever had! Deepen was the best tour guide I've ever come across since he was personable, friendly, knowledgable, and suited the tour to the tourists needs and interests.
