We found Paleo Morocco Tours on different forums and contacted them via their website. He is locally-owned and operated by Hmad. Hmad immediately responded to our questions regarding an ideal itinerary. My husband and I only had a week and wanted to focus on Marrakesh and Ourika Valley, a beautiful view and nature. Within a day or two, Hmad came back to us with a preliminary itinerary including airport pick up, transportation between towns, accommodations, and local guides.

In first day, we were cordially greeted by Hmad at the Casablanca airport. He was our driver, tour director and a nice friend for the duration of the week, Hmad was thoroughly knowledgeable about every historic and cultural aspect of his society. He is also fluent in 4 languages including French and English. Hmad arranged local guides for us in Marrakesh and Fes. Each guide gave us an excellent walking tour of the medina with an overview of their rich history. 

We fell in love with Moroccan cuisine – the flavorful spices, the tangy lemon rinds, fragrant olive oils, and the freshly baked bread will never be forgotten. Our favorite dishes were: Chicken Tagine, Harira soup, Couscous and Curry Chicken Pastilla. Our favorite drinks were Mint Tea, Casablanca Beer and Volubilia Gris, a dry, pale rose. 

But the most enduring highlight of our trip were the goats in the argan tree on our route to Essaouira – an incredible site to see! Thank you Hmad as you patiently waited for us while we snapped away.

Overall, we were impressed with Paleo Morocco Tours for their professionalism, their efficiency, great service and their friendliness. They made our experience hassle-free. We feel fortunate to have found them. We’ll be back to see the rest of the Morocco!

I had a very excellent time travelling with Paleo Morocco Tours. Hmad is a very intellegent person, I had the chance to discover the real beauty of Morocco with him. He can talk about almost everything. He speaks very excellent English and other European langauges, like frensh, is a very good driver , he drove us throught the Atlas Mountains, and the off-raod in the desert, he does not talk too much, which is good because he was driving! and he also played very nice music during the tour. In case you are thinking about travelling to Morocco, Hmad is your perfect way to the land of magic, I highly recommand Paleo Morocco Tours! you will get the feelings of the Berbers and the Badaouin all together in one tour. I and my family had an excellent tour in Morocco with our guide and driver, Hmad who could not have been more fun or professional. Our hotels were comfortable with clean rooms and tipycal Moroccan food. And we saw lots of fascinating sites such as Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, High atlas mountains, Skoura....what a special place. The Berbere Palace and a few of the stops were more "tourist places", though perfectly good....not sure what the choices are so I can't really double guess where else we might have gone....our only hitch was the camel ride at the Luxury Tents....Having ridden camels through the Erg Chebbie dunes for one hour , really we enjoyed camel ridding with blue poeple in sahara desert. our tents contains the electric blankets...that was heaven....and the food was very good.
