Our guide picked us up from Arusha at 8. We reached the gate at 12. We were told that we would have to hike very quickly if we wanted to make it there and back. We hiked non-stop for 3.5 hours. No breaks. Once we reached the first camp, his plan changed. We were told there wasn't enough time to hike the extra 20 minutes to see mountain views. We were also told we only had 10 minutes for eating and bathroom use as we had to walk back so we wouldn't be fined for staying after 6. After one hour of walking we were escorted to an ambulance so we could be driven down before  the park closed. The diver called us "cry babies"  we were beyond embarrassed. We never complained and were able to hike. We just weren't given enough time. Needless to say, we spent $200 for a miserable day.

Travelling with Jiwe adventures was absolutely amazing experience!! The entire process was seamless and amazing. We had a wonderful guide Chris, he has eagle-eyes and made our safari very special!! Every game drive we went on was an amazing experience. We spotted so many animals and was all down to our very talented driver. He wouldn't stop until he had found what we were after! We have been on safari few times before in Kenya and South Africa and I would have to say that this trip was better than all previous trips combined, thanks to Jiwe Adventures.

Jiwe adventures provided the best experience for climbing Kilimanjaro. They are local professionals that will do everything they can to assist you. We were a group of 4 and everyone summitted! I was so pleased with their company that I also went on a safari with them after Kili.
