We came back few days ago from our spring trip in Armenia... A country of fortresses, villages, temples, caravanserais, archaeological sites, churches, monasteries... A country full of ancient history! Fascinating Armenia! Exciting Armenia! Addictive Armenia! And then.... a hike in the near Nagorno-Karabakh, a part of the world where tourism is virtually nonexistent. Both countries have proved to be places of encounters and hospitality. This was already a very tasty cake, but the icing on it was Arpine, our guide: crisp, helpful, prepared and always able to perceive our tastes and desires, the real added value of this trip. Thinking back to the places we visited, to Arpine and to the perfect and timely organization of EtnoArmenia Tours, I find it easy to exclaim: Great Armenia and great Armenians!

we performed a giuded tour across Armenia combining both the historical and cultural side of this land as well as by enjoying some trekking and digging deeply in the culinary richness of the country. Arpine, our guide (btw speaking perfectly Italian, our mother tongue), was simply amazing. She allowed us to get in toch with many armenian families, by arranging our stays direcly within locals. We will alway remember legendary horovath dinners with armenian families ending with the tasting of superbe cognacs kindly offered to us by the families we were staying with. Her deep knowledge of armenian history and culture created the right atmosphere to visit the numerous sites she arranged for us all over the country. Finally, if you want it to, she can organize nice trekking to enjoy the nature surrounding this wonderful land.

Ho effettuato il mio primo viaggio in Armenia con la EtnoArmenia Tours nel febbraio del 2015. L'accoglienza del personale dell'agenzia è stata amichevole, puntuale e professionale sin dalla prima accoglienza, così come in tutto il percorso del viaggio. La nostra guida, che parlava un perfetto italiano, è sempre stata attenta ad ogni esigenza che i componenti del gruppo potevano avere, dalle richieste negli hotel e nei ristoranti, a quelle durante il tragitto. La preparazione storica e culturale è sempre stata di alto livello accademico, puntuale nelle descrizioni, cortese e precisa nelle risposte. Inoltre la disponibilità dello staff è stata offerta anche nei momenti di libertà dal programma e in modo sempre simpatico ed informale, come nell'assistenza allo shopping o per particolari richieste ed esigenze personali. Per le mie esigenze professionali, legate in particolare alla fotografia sociale e di reportage, la guida è sempre stata all'altezza delle richieste, assolutamente ottimo fixer per stabilire ogni contatto con la gente del posto. E' stata una così grande sorpresa conoscere questo paese, e un gran piacere viaggiare con EtnoArmenia Tours che tornerò a richiedere la loro assistenza in Armenia nel prossimo agosto per un workshop fotografico.
