Touring Morocco had been a long-awaited journey, and it certainly ticked all the boxes! My friend and I engaged Hassan after reading about his excellent reviews, and we certainly were not disappointed. For our particular trip, we knew the route we wanted to travel, the riads we wished to stay in and for how long in each destination, and Hassan was very accommodating with letting us plan our own itinerary. The flexibility around our itinerary was exactly what we were after, and Hassan’s touch of first-class tour guiding was exceptional. His knowledge of his country and the way he delivered the history, the stories, the everyday life, made each place we visited so enjoyable, and our never-ending questions, he was only too happy to enlighten us. At one point, we wished to extend our time in Fes, and again, he was very accommodating with doing so. Being two ladies on holidays, time management was not our priority, and not once did Hassan mind how late we were coming from breakfast! We felt very safe everywhere we travelled, and nothing was rushed. In fact, how his patience never wore thin with our constant shopping stops was remarkable! Hassan is an excellent and cautious driver, and each place we visited, the locals knew him. I would not hesitate to recommend Hassan if you are planning a trip to Morocco, whether that be to travel along one of his itineraries, or plan your own, you will be very pleased you did.
