Phurba was a dream guide for our tour of his home, Bhutan! In our week together, Phurba was able to answer any and every question. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his country and the Buddhist relgion and culture. He was also great about pivoting our intinerary to match our interests and was very flexible depending on what we enjoyed. We felt so welcomed with Phurba, almost part of his family rather than as visitors or foreigners (we even went to a night of Karaoke together!). Phurba made our trip incredibly memorable. We recommend Phurba 110% !

Phurba Namgyel is very knowledgeable about history of Bhutan, Buddhism, the customs of his country &  medicinal plants native to Bhutan.  When we tour a temple, we ran across a little boy who had fell. He had bruised & bleeding knee. Phurba prepared & used medicinal plants for little boy's knee. He is very considerate & friendly. He prepared us for hike up to Tiger's Nest Monastery. Everywhere we travelled, Phurba made sure my lactose intolerant was known & made sure i had other food to eat. He has great sense of humor. He has an eye for taking great pictures. 

Phurba took us on a 2 week tour of Bhutan.  He is very passionate and knowledgeable of his country, culture and religion.  Phurba enjoys people and loves to joke around and laugh.   

Highlights were the visit to a local family , the small towns with terraced fields and of course , the hike up to Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
