The Galapagos was an amazing experience for our group and a lot of that is due to the knowledge that Zambo has and the environment that he creates as a guide. He makes you feel welcome to the islands and knows the answers to any and every question you could possibly have. As a native to Santa Cruz, you are getting a local's outlook and experience, which is valuable to have especially in a place such as the Galápagos. It is easy to see the passion that Zambo has for the Galápagos Islands and all they have to offer, and he makes it evident through the energy and insight he brings to each tour.

Zambo is incredibly dynamic, knowledgable and passionate in all that he does whether it be adventure activities, talking about life and culture on the islands, giving information about wildlife and the natural world, or living his life. He is so welcoming, helpful, accommodating, friendly, personable, energetic, communicative, relatable, and fun! He is so easy to collaborate with. Our students loved his energy and so did we! I cannot recommend him enough! You will be so happy with him as your guide! 

Juan (or Zambo, as everyone called him), was an outstanding guide for our trip to the Galapagos Islands. He was very knowledgeable, organized, and energetic.  He was very focused on helping ensure our group had the best possible experience.  And the fact that he grew up on Santa Cruz island gave him extra insights and credibility.  I highly recommend him as a tour guide for the Galapagos Islands.
