I had the pleasure of being guided by Asser during my research trip from the University of Cambridge to Lüderitz in January 2023. I was looking for a guide whose knowledge was inclusive and well rounded, giving me an insight into all facets of the complicated history of this town, the surrounding area and Namibia as a whole. Asser was thoughtful and thought provoking and adjusted our time in accordance with my specific interests. His local knowledge and connections meant that I was able to gain access to a disused church and house my great-grandfather had worked and lived in. He is very professional, personable and has a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend him as a guide. 

Asser Mukapuli is an extremely well-connected and historically knowledgeable guide with a reliable and trustworthy organizational style. He helped me with a comprehensive photo project and was able to provide me with access to relevant premises as well as make contact with people of importance to me. In addition to his high level of professionalism, he is a friendly and cheerful guide and is therefore largely responsible for my good time in Lüderitz.
