Satya is awesome!

Reviewed December 1, 2019

I had the pleasure of meeting Satya in 2014 when I first visited Nepal. Our group trekked the Annapurna Discovery Route. Satya was not only professional but compassionate & personable. He was always supportive & encouraging to each member of the group. I remember one day when I was struggling to keep up with the group. Satya stayed with me at the back of the group and talked to me to help distract me just enough to keep me going. I don’t know if any of us fully appreciate all that Satya and his colleagues had to endure to ensure our safety and enjoyment but his dedication & commitment to excellence stays with me to this day. He’s an intelligent, hardworking, and empathetic professional and employee. And I am honored to be able to call him my friend.

Satya Lama taught me Mero Nepal

Reviewed September 21, 2019

A few years ago, I found myself wanting to get lost in Nepal. Under the guidance and stewardship of Satya Lama, I found joy and purpose with a deeper cultural understanding of the beautiful countryside.   Satya never tired, and never tired of questions and comments. We shared music, he taught us local games and spoke of customs to provide warm comfort on cold nights, and delivered a safe, informative trip. I left Nepal with a better understanding of the small nation and its people, and with an admiration for the guide I now considered a lifelong friend. Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly, we were safe and engaged our entire trip. I’ll always be grateful for my first and best experience of Nepal.

Trip of a Lifetime

Reviewed September 4, 2019

Had a wonderful experience in Nepal with Satya as my guide.  Traveling in Nepal has a special set of logistical challenges and Satya handled everyting quickly and professionally.  He is personable, knowledgeable and clearly wants his clients to have the best experience possible - he deeply cares about his clients and their experience.

What I enjoyed about Satya the most was his willingness to be friends.  Any guide can get you on the trail and show you the sites, but Satya introduced me to locals, taught me as much of the language as I was able to learn and explained the culture and traditions.  We ate meals together, played cards together and talked for hours.

I will always remember the beauty of the trip, but even more so, I will remember the time spent together and the little moments.  Satya is a great guide and a great person.
