Highly Recommended Tour Guide

Reviewed April 12, 2016

Dorian is a fantastic all round guide. He is very knowledgeable about Albanian culture, history and current affairs, and his language skills are excellent. But he is much more than this, he really cares that his clients are having a good holiday and goes the extra mile to make sure that everyone has a trip to remember. His knowledge of hotels, restaurants and cafes across Albania is excellent. He keeps up to date with developments such as new excavations and sites. He is personable and very good company. I have travelled with him several times now and he has always delivered a first class service! Highly recommended.

Recieved as hero by locals

Albanian, English, Greek are his languages. A living sample of Albanian current events. Archeologists, museum curators, hotel reception, local farmers and old women knitting all stop what they are doing to welcome Dorian as if he was the favorite cousin. Savvy, sensitive, conscientious, thoughtful. He doesn't let your plan fail. You will see territory and meet people in addition to your itinerary. When you spend to get here, to insure the rest of your time here will not be squandered, you will see why Doran Disha ranks #1. Two weeks in Albania in the interior and in the coast. Hard to stress how dangerous the driving conditions were and how safe, faultless, attentive Dorian was at the wheel.

We called him "Superman".

We spent one week with Dorian in Albania. We were totally taken with this young man. He was interested in what we wanted to do. He was very solicitous of our needs and desires. He was so passionate about his country that we grew to love the history and the culture of this land. One of us came to Dorian with a broken wrist from a trip in Croatia. We said that Dorian's last task before leaving us was to help us get the cast off her arm. He was fabulous, even after getting stuck in the hospital elevator briefly. We called him Superman almost from the start and he was!!
