Dries went above and beyond to give us an exceptional tour. I asked for something quite specific - to see the streets of blooming jacarandas. Dries went on a scouting mission the day before to see where the best blooms were. He shared extensive knowledge of trees, the area and history. He stayed with us until we were safely in our hotel and provided us with a thumb drive of photos he took. I highly recommend him

In June / July 2019, we had the wonderful experience of the Rovos Rail Shongololo Southern Cross trip.   

Dries was the guide, for which we are grateful.  Through Zimbabwe, Mozambique and the northern provinces of South Africa, he shared on history, culture, flora and fauna.  

Quick with identification of all birds,  he is a wealth of knowledge.

His quiet manner shone through, and constant reapect for all.

We saw his patience with less abled members of the larger group, duirng the climb to Greater Zimbabwe ruins.

Dries is a fantastic guide. He created a day trip for us that was tailored particularly to our needs and we enjoyed every minute of it. His ability to keep a family group that included Grandparents and young children interested and enthused throughout the trip was amazing. We hope to be able to take another trip with him next time we visit South Africa.
