Sabri isn’t just a regular tour guide. He loves his corner of the world and its culture and history and is passionate about sharing it with visitors. He doesn’t just tell visitors facts and share the typical tourist spots; he is attentive to ensuring an enjoyable experience the whole time. For us, this region was pretty unknown and having Sabri show and tell about it made a massive difference to our enjoyment. He didn’t rush us around and showed us places we didn’t even think to ask about. He was always happy with our many questions about almost anything, and we were thrilled that he shared a meal with us at his own family’s refuge. He seems to know everyone and you can tell he just loves people. His knowledge is top rate, and he was totally reliable. His communication is exceptional. Highly recommended!

Sabri introduced us to Mardin on our first day, and then took us on a complete and very informative tour of the surrounding area the next day. He was quick to respond to our questions as he explained the history and features of the places we were visiting. He's also very kind and lots of fun, an all around excellent guide; highly recommended

We had a great 2 day tour of Mardin and the surroundings with Sabri. Being a native of the area, he is very knowledgeable about the culture and history of ethnic groups of the Southeastern Anatolya. For those who are interested in culture and religions, we can especially recommend Sabri as a guide. We saw several syriac churches and monasteries and had a tour of Midyat and Mardin, as well as Dara. He could arrange the tour in the best order, find convenient places to stop for a meal, and make sure places were open and ready to receive us, despite our visit falling on a public holiday and during Ramadan. Very nice and caring person.
