It was a very interesting tour with Alex, who showed us a lot of things and had a very good knowlegde of local places, history and people. The way to the long house was very long drive to reach. For the future we suggest more organized schedule on tour. Alex is one you can count on, he is very reliable.

Alex organized our trip to Indonesia. The communication with him form US before our departure was always very good and he always try to make our booking experience as smooth as he can. He book for us alkl our flight tickets in Indonesia from places to places.
We met him in Pontaniak where we visit the surrounding and a native village. Alex is a very nice and knowledgeable guide. We left Pontaniak to go for 2 days boat trip to the forest to see the orangutan then 2 days boat trip to Komodo island where we stop for snokeling. In all the destination, a guide and driver was waiting for us. Alex coordinated all the connections for us. In every stop, our guide was amazing and was speaking a good english.
I recommend Alex as your guide and coordinator for any trip in Indonesia.

. In one side we (you and I) educate people (Local Community) to be a nice hosts to the visitors/tourists instead. In the other side, I give you opportunity observing local culture which is different from those you have in USA. For instance; it is common for Indonesian asking tourist, "where are you from? what is your purpose? are you married? how many kids do you have? etc, which is too personal and silly question for certain culture.
