We spent 3 wonderful days in Pantanal with Jean Duval as our guide. And it was a phantastic time we didn't miss anything. All question we had he answered, all tours he did with us were wonderful, we saw plenty of birds Jean knew them all, we saw lots of other animals and the nature was wonderful. But the best adventure was the riding with the horse. I will never forget this unbelievable time.

He was knowledgeable about ALL aspects of the Pantanal (flora and fauna), was helpful, kind, careful, enthusiastic, responsive, hard-working, and professional. Bonjour Jean , nous avons passé un séjour fantastique , quel beau pays que le Brésil et quel plaisir que de se retrouvé dans cette natures au milieu de tous ces animaux dans un cadre et un calme paradisiaque dans le Pantanal . Nous avons été accueillis comme si nous faisions partis d'une grande famille , tous de suite alaise dans une ambiance chaleureuse et sympathique .Un grand merci à notre guide " Jean Duval " pour son extrême gentillesse , ces éclats de de rire et ces taquineries " j'adore " je souhaite que les alligators aimeront toujours autant les petits Français ?!!!! Avoir fait connaissance d'un personnage comme toi me réconcilie avec les hommes . Je te souhaite tous ce qu'il y a de meilleur sur notre planète , encore un grand merci Jean. Passés de belles fêtes de fin d'année et on ne sait jamais peu-être qu'un jour nous aurons le plaisir de se revoir . Jean picked us up from Mato Grosso Palace Hotel in Cuiaba to take us to Pousada Piuval near Pocone, for our Pantanal adventure. Jean is a very safe driver and made us feel welcome from the start. He went out of his way to show us as much of the wildlife available at this time of year (November) during our short 3 day stay. His knowledge of the terrain and wildlife is amazing; we learned an enormous amount from him. If he felt that we had not experienced enough, he took us on very early walking trips to find the elusive creatures (ant eater). We also learned about his life and he learned from us. It made our trip very memorable and we have been in email contact since our return from Brazil. We would strongly recommend Jean to others who enjoy a good time as Jean communicates very well. Jean is also a very competent horse rider.

We had such an amazing time in the Pantanal with Jean as our guide. He was a fantastic guide and made our trip so memorable. Especially the jaguar and monkeys! So special! We also enjoyed learning about him and his family - very interesting. We are glad we got to share our first trip to Brazil with Jean.
