Private Tour Guide In
New Orleans

Spending the majority of my life in pursuit of all things history and an affinity with animals, carriage driving was a natural choice. Working my dream job, I am fully licensed with over 12 years of experience in this specific field. I earned my bachelor's degree in history from Brooklyn College in 2000 and went on to teach social studies to high school students. Originally from Brooklyn, in 2001, I threw a dart at a map. That dart landed between the E and the A of New Orleans, thus beginning a new chapter of my life. Starting my time in New Orleans like most, I enjoyed the non-stop nightlife and parties, until 2005. Staying in New Orleans through Hurricane Katrina changed everything, as I now have a deeper sense of community and an even greater appreciation for my neighborhood. In these ten years since the storm, I have worked hard to make my life everything it is today. With my loving wife and two children, I am a proud French Quarter resident and this is my home. Harvey, my mule, is the real star of the show. Mules are the choice animal in this industry for many reasons. With their brute strength and a high tolerance for hot weather, they pull a carriage with ease at their own pace. They are very intelligent with kind, individual personalities. It is with love and respect that I care for Harvey in a clean stable, so he can eat well and rest. Harvey's safety, happiness, and well-being are of the utmost priority.
