Unbeaten Japan is a unique boutique tour company based in western Japan that provides bespoke itineraries completely different from any other company. Unlike almost all other foreigner owned & operated companies, we actually live here in Kyoto & Osaka. And we have, for over 30 years. We started by hosting tours for domestic residents, both nonJapanese & Japanese, over 25 years ago.

Nature-based tours

Join us on a roadtrip to the mountains & vallies, rivers & waterfalls, the coasts, beaches & seas surrounding the most popular tourist cities in the country: Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Kobe.And the numerous hot springs available both within the cities and without.

Camping season

From May 1st to Nov 1st. We provide all the necessary gear for a comfortable & relaxing camp, including door-to-door transportation via private vehicle.

Hot Springs

Available all year round, but especially wonderful in the cooler months.

Do not worry:

Tattoos -- we'll take you to hot springs without rules against body art. Bashful about being naked -- we'll take you to the hot springs in nature where swimsuits are permitted.

Being separated by gender -- we'll take you to hot springs that offer mixed bathing opportunities (with or without clothes).

Sight-seeing tours

Sure! We can host you on 'normal' tour that focuses on all the major destinations in the main cities. With the added convenience of a private vehicle rather than being a slave to the public transport system. Save time, save energy, be spontaneous, see more in the same amount of time.
