Description

Go for an adventurous 4-day safari in the Mara and Nakuru which is home to thousands of flamingos and white Rhinos. Visit the bewitchingly beautiful lake where birds come to feed on the algae. On the way, take photos of the beautiful Great Rift Valley.

  • Day 1- Great Rift Valley - Nakuru expand_more

    • Get picked up from the hotel/place of stay at approx 8 am.

    • After the briefing, head off and on route stop at the Great Rift Valley lookout point. Buy souvenirs at the various shops or just take photos of the amazing view.

    • Stop off for lunch in Nakuru town.

    • Reach camp and rest in the evening, have few drinks around the bonfire and chat to Masai warriors who patrol the camp at night protecting us from the local wildlife. The tents are permanent structures with concrete floors.

    There is an option to visit a local Masai village this is an additional $20 entry fee.

  • Day 2- Game Drive expand_more

    • Get an early start and after breakfast, head off for a whole day game drive in Masai Mara.

    • Spend the entire day searching for the big five and enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve itself.

    • Relish dinner and drinks back at the camp in the evening.

  • Day 3- Game Drive to Lake Nakuru expand_more

    • Go back into the reserve for another game drive before heading to Lake Nakuru.

    • Spend the evening having dinner and venture into town, ask the Kenyan guide for details of where to go for safety reasons!

  • Day 4- Lake Nakuru expand_more

    • After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru. See more Rhinos and a huge amount of birds.

    • After the game drive, head back to Nairobi.
