  • Day 1: Nairobi expand_more
    • We will be there to meet you at Nairobi Airport and transfer you to the Kenya Comfort Hotel.

    • Tonight, you will stay in shared dorms. There will be a pre-departure meeting at 17.00 hours.

    Overnight at Nairobi.

  • Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve expand_more
    • Heading west from Nairobi, we reach possibly Kenya's most famous natural attraction - the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Kenyan section of the wildly beautiful Serengeti Plains teems with wildlife. The Mara's highlight is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration. Elephant, lion, cheetah, giraffe and a multitude of hooved herbivores also inhabit the reserve.
    • A game drive through the Mara gives us the chance to spot the Big Five. 
    • During our stay, we can also opt to visit a local Masai tribe.

    Overnight at Maasai Mara National Park.

  • Day 3: Kigali expand_more
    • Transfer from Kenya to Kigali. We will drive through Rwanda, referred to as “The Land of a Thousand Hills”.

    You will dine and spend your night there as you prepare yourself for the tour in the morning.

  • Day 4: Parc National des Volcans expand_more
    • After your early morning breakfast, transfer to Parc National des Volcans. 
    • You will reach the park headquarters at Kinigi for briefing, after which you will start tracking gorillas at 8.30 am. It might take you 2 to 6 hours to encounter the mountain gorillas, and once found, you will be allowed to view, interact and photograph the gorillas for only 1 hour.

  • Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park expand_more
    • After breakfast, transfer to Uganda by road through the Kigezi Highlands, commonly referred to as the Switzerland of Africa, to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
    • After resting and having lunch, take a community walk to the Batwa (pygmy) communities, whose cultural performances will freshen you and usher in you a great deal of excitement even before you see the gorillas.

    Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp/Bandas.

  • Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park expand_more
    • After early morning breakfast, get briefed at the park headquarters at Buhoma before tracking the gorillas at 8.30 am. It will take between an hour to a full day to encounter the gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and the time you spend will depend on their movements.

    Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp/Bandas.

  • Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park expand_more
    • After your early morning breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have lunch in Mbarara town.
    • Once in the park, you will have an afternoon game drive along the lakeshore track, and you might be able to see several herds of zebra, eland, topis, oribis, buffaloes and very many species of birds.

    Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp/Guesthouse.

  • Day 8: Kampala expand_more
    • After your breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the Eastern hinterland of Lake Mburo National Park. It has a network of game tracks that will allow you to see various animals and birds.
    • Leave the national park, have lunch en-route and proceed to the Equator, where you will have a stop-over for photography and shopping of handicrafts.
    • Transfer to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.

    Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Hotel/Guest House.

  • Day 9: Kampala expand_more
    • Depending on the time of your flight, you might be able to have a Kampala City tour.
    • This tour will take you to either Buganda Heritage Trails, where you might see places such as the Kabaka’s Palace, Kabaka’s Lake, Kasubi Tombs, Naggalabi Coronation Site. Alternatively, you can go sightseeing in areas such as the Uganda Museum, Makerere University, Bahai Temple, Namirembe & Lubaga Cathedrals, Gadafi & Kibuli Mosques.
  • Day 10: Departure expand_more
    • Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.
