Enjoy a day in the African village of Mukuni, the home of the Leya people. Witness the beauty of local cultures, get to know their local lifestyles, interact with villagers and enjoy a traditional dance around a bonfire.
DAY 01
Mukuni Village, Livingstone
Start the tour at 10 am and begins with a village tour at Mukuni village, the home of the Leya people and chiefdom.
Tour the village, interact with the villagers, visit the Chief's palace and meet the local women and men that will assimilate them into the day to day lifestyles of the village. Local meals will be cooked and eaten.
At 6 pm, proceed to the ceremonial site where a big fire will be lit throughout the night, different tradition genre will be performed and local dances and story-telling will proceed until daybreak.
Retire to their campsite when they feel like doing so.
In the morning, they will take a bath and have breakfast at the campsite and then leave for Livingstone town.
