DAY 01

Port elizabeth

  • Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and be driven to your accommodation for today. 

  • Visit one of the oldest townships of Port Elizabeth.

  • Experience the life of African people of IsiXhosa tribe and learn about the British and Dutch influence in the area. 

  • May visit a local family, local school and local restaurant for lunch before the drive back to the hotel.

Accommodation: Abalone Lodge BB or Similar BB

DAY 02

PORT ELIZABETH - TSITSIKAMA

  • Enjoy Port Elizabeth city orientation drive en route the Garden Route along the coast. This scenic drive runs parallel to the coastline featuring lakes, mountains, forests, rivers and golden beaches.

  • Stop at Bloukrans River Bridge, the highest in South Africa.

  • Visit Tsitsikamma National Park. The Storms River Mouth for a walking tour to the majestic suspension bridges with a view of the Storms River canyon and a paradise of bird and marine life, indigenous forests along kilometres of coastal beauty.

DAY 03

TSITSIKAMA - KNYSNA

  • Depart Tsitsikamma to Knysna, famous for its oysters. Knysna is a waterfront and home to the Knysna Headstown along the Garden Route and is a beautiful spot to relax.

  • Along the way, stop at Monkeyland and Birds Eden (optional and costs extra).

  • Stop at The Bloukrans Bridge, the highest Bungy Jumping bridge in the world. (Jumping is optional and costs extra.)

  • Drive through the beautiful resort town of Plettenberg Bay and stop at the beaches.

  • Upon arrival in Knysna town, check-in at your hotel.

DAY 04

KNYSNA

  • Optional activities are available in the famous resort town such as Feather Bed Excursion, Elephant Sanctuary, and Sunset Boat cruise on Knysna Lagoon. 

DAY 05

knysna - oudtshoorn

  • After breakfast, depart to Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital, and drive past Sedgefield and Wilderness.

  • Stop at the famous Dolphin Point for pictures and proceed through George Town, via Outeniqua Pass.

  • Continue to Cango Caves with your South Africa tour guide.

  • Proceed to the Ostrich Farm for a guided tour.

DAY 06

oudtshoorn to hermanus

  • Depart from Oudtshoorn to Hermanus travelling along the world’s most beautiful drive Route 62 (R62). 

  • Explore the Old Harbor and New Harbor upon arrival in Hermanus. Try your luck as you try to spot some whales. The area gives a spectacular view of the beautiful harbour and the ocean. 

  • There are also some local markets where you can get some souvenirs.

  • Check into your hotel just on the beachside.

DAY 07

Hermanus to cape town

  • Today drive on the majestic coastal road and stop at the country's home to the largest African Penguin colony.

  • Its time for a walk through the edge of the ocean and get real close to these beautiful and funny penguins. Watch out for the cute Rock dassies as well.

  • Learn the underlying history of this place.

  • Proceed to Cape Town.

  • End your tour upon drop off at Cape Town International Airport.

  • 2200 USD Per Adult , 1800 USD Per Child (* This tour can be run in reverse- starting in Cape Town and finishing in Port Elizabeth.)
