3 Days Safari tour itinerary for Cape Town & Oudtshoorn: Meet The Wildlife In The Spectacular Countryside

With the hustle and bustle of the capital behind us, we'll be off on Route 62, the longest wine route in South Africa. Travel through the countryside of Southern Africa, experiencing the culture, wildlife and nature with your expert guide.
Today, we’ll travel through some of the most beautiful areas of South Africa, starting with the second oldest town Stellenbosch via Franschoek to Villiersdorp and Robertson for a wine tasting break.
We’ll enter the Klein-Karoo through Cogmanskloof some spectacular mountain ranges, some peaks 2300m high. Healthy air, ostrich meat, dried fruits, wine, cheese, olives, sterilizing sunshine make this area a sought after breakaway destination.
Apart from being a “natural” host, the area is blessed with year-round lovely weather.
This semi-arid area, although colored green with endemic succulents, “fynbos” and thicket, is a recognized international hotspot for flora.
We’ll enjoy a refreshment drink at the renowned Ronnie’s Sex shop.
During the afternoon a visit into the Seweweekpoort pass, where the ancient sandstone literally unfolds. We’ll give you the opportunity for a walkabout in this wonderful pass.
We settle the day in the port wine capital of South Africa, Calitzdorp, with a traditional braai/barbeque.
On to Oudtshoorn, the business hub of the previous two centuries due to the ostrich industry. We’ve got 2 lovely activities this morning, an hour guided tour on an Ostrich farm, as well as at the renowned Cango Caves.
We’ll enjoy lunch and the rest of the afternoon at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge.
During the afternoon we’ll be going on a +- 2 hour guided bush safari with your South Africa tour guide.
Coastal route back to cape town
Our last day out and still a lot of memories to [sensitive content]day we’re off to the coast.Visit the beautiful little holiday resort Hartenbos, the more historic town Mossel Bay with the Dias Museum.
We’ll pass through towns like Albertinia, Riversdal, Heidelberg, Swellendam.
Then on the False Bay coastal line, one of the most scenic drives in South Africa.
We’ll make a few stops via our coastal route to Cape Town.Photo stops along the way and a stroll along the Strand Boulevard.
