Discover a whole new destination brimming with bygone African traditions & culture. Taste the excitement as you visit vast wine yards, enjoy game drives, cable car ride, and host of sightseeing with promising sightseeing  experiences.

DAY 01

to Pilanesberg National Park

  • Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International airport, an English speaking guide will meet you at your arrival terminal with a sign displaying your names.

  • From there, depart for Pilanesberg National Park, a three-hour drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport. Stop by at a famous souvenir market on the way. 

  • Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and relax for a while. Pilanesberg is a natural game reserve which is home to the Big Five and many other birds and animals.

  • Later in the afternoon, go out for a 2 to 3-hour game drive in an open-roof vehicle with a game ranger as your guide, into the park (D/B/B).

DAY 02

Pilanesberg National Park and Sun City

  • After breakfast, you will be driven to Sun City, also known as 'Las Vegas of South Africa'.

  • Enjoy exploring the spectacular wonderland of Sun City and enjoy strolling around the gardens and swimming pool areas. You may have lunch at one of many restaurants.

  • After lunch, travel travel back to the lodge where you can spend rest of the day at leisure. Later in the afternoon, an go out for 2-3 hour game viewing tour in an open safari vehicle, accompanied by a game ranger as your guide and a driver.

  • Overnight stay at the accommodation  (D/B/B).

DAY 03

Off to Cape Town

  • After breakfast, check out and leave for O.R. Tambo International Airport to catch your flight to Cape Town, the mother city of South Africa.

  • If weather permits, enjoy the thrilling Cableway ride up the Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the city and Robben Island.

  • Arrival and check in at the hotel/accommodation.

  • Overnight stay (B/B).

DAY 04

Exploring Cape Town

  • Today, you will get to enjoy a drive along the Cape Town coast and peninsula and will visit Hout Bay where a boat trip can be done to Seal Island to view the seal colony and the colony of African Penguins at the Boulders Beach. You will also visit the gorgeous Cape Point - the place where Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean meet.

  • If time allows, Victor & Albert Waterfront can be visited for a few hours of leisure and shopping.

  • Overnight stay ( B/B).

DAY 05

Cape Town

  • After breakfast, travel to the historic Dutch town of Stellenbosch founded in 1688. Here, you will visit a famous wine farm to taste and purchase some exotic South African wines.

  • While returning from the wine farm, don't miss out a chance to relish fabulous seafood at a restaurant.

  • Overnight stay at the accommodation (B/B).

DAY 06

Day at leisure in Cape Town

  • You can spend this day at leisure. If you like to explore more, you can visit V&A Waterfront, or enjoy a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus to various places in Cape Town, or visit Robben Island.

  • In the evening you can also opt to visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

  • Overnight stay (B/B).

DAY 07

Cape Town to Oudtshoorn

  • Post breakfast, leave for scenic route of R-62, which is the fruit and wheat route of the Western Cape province.

  • Later in the day, you will reach the Ostrich town of South Africa namely Oudtshoorn where you will visit the Cango Caves.

  • Overnight stay in Oudtshoorn (D/B/B).

DAY 08

Off To pleasing Knysna

  • After breakfast, you will be taken for a visit to a famous ostrich farm where an interesting tour will also give you the opportunity to ride an ostrich.

  • After having fun at the ostrich farm, leave for Knysna along the Garden Route.

  • Overnight stay in Knysna (B/B).

DAY 09

Knysna city tour

  • After breakfast, take a short tour of Knysna and the Knysna Heads where you will be served with lunch which is included in the tour.

  • The rest of the day will be free. So, you can go shopping or simply relax at the hotel/accommodation. Knysna is a pleasant holiday town and very famous for its souvenir flea-market and restaurants.

  • Overnight stay (B/B).

DAY 10

Port Elizabeth

  • After breakfast, we leave for Port Elizabeth with a stopover at the highest bungee jump bridge in the world - Bloukrans Bridge.

  • Stop by at the famous surfing town of Jeffries Bay for lunch before finally arriving at Port Elizabeth.

  • Check in to the hotel and enjoy the beautiful beach views from the window.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel (B/B).

DAY 11

Addo National park

  • Today morning, proceed to Addo Elephant Park whic is home to some of the largest elephants in Africa.

  • After lunch, we leave for East London.

  • As you arrive at the beach side hotel of stay in East London, check in and make yourself at home (B/B).

DAY 12

Kokstad attractions

  • An early departure takes you for a scenic drive through old Transkei homeland (birth-land of Nelson Mandela). 

  • E nroute, you will visit Mandela Museum (Qunu).

  • Overnight stay at lodge in Kokstad (D/B/B).

DAY 13

Shakaland adventure

  • After breakfast, take a scenic road to the coastline of Natal, traveling northwards, via the city of Durban. You can have lunch en route to Eshowe.

  • Have lunch and then continue the drive to the cultural homestead, Shakaland. The village was build years ago for the film Shaka Zulu and today is a big tourist attraction. The accommodation is a beehive hut with all necessary facilities in.

  • Upon arrival in Shakaland, you will enjoy the traditions of the Zulu nation by joining in for a cultural tour. Enjoy spectacular Zulu traditional dance performances and observe traditional Zulu culture, including their iconic beadwork and spear-making. You will also get to meet a real isangoma (witch doctor), sample some traditional Zulu beer and enjoy a delicious lunchtime feast.

  • Overnight stay (D/B/B).

DAY 14

Adventure in Hluhluwe begins

  • After breakfast, say goodbye to your Zulu friends and make your way towards St Lucia (Isimangaliso wetland park) via Richards Bay. Travelling through the green sugarcane crops of Zululand, you reach St Lucia town - a Unesco World Heritage town with one of the largest natural lakes in the world.

  • Here, enjoy a boat ride on the lake accompanied by a guide who will help you catch glimpses of some of the largest crocodiles in Africa, hippos and an abundant bird life during this trip. You can make the most of bar facilities onboard the boat. 

  • After three hours on the boat, have lunch at a local restaurant and leave for the town of Hluhluwe.

  • Overnight stay at the lodge (D/B/B).

DAY 15

Hluhluwe Game reserve

  • The day begins with an early morning game drive in an open safari vehicle in Hluhluwe Game Reserve famous for its large population of white and black rhinos. The park also has the Big Five and many other species of African animals.

  • After game viewing, return to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.

  • Overnight stay (D/B/B).

DAY 16

Kingdom of Swaziland

  • After breakfast, continue your drive through Zululand via the towns of Pongola and Piet Retief, before crossing the border to enter the Kingdom of Swaziland  at the Sicunusa (Houtkop) border post.

  • On the way to lodge, have lunch. Arrival and check-in at the lodge.

  • Overnight stay (B/B).

DAY 17

To Hazyview

  • Have breakfast and then journey your way through the South African border gate at Jeppes Reef to enter Kruger National Park through Malelane Gate.

  • Lunch will be at Skukuza camp. After lunch, proceed to our accommodation in the Hazyview area.

  • The overnight resort is on the banks of the Sabie River known for resident hippo population (D/B/B).

DAY 18

panorama route

  • After breakfast, get ready for a tour of the beautiful Panorama Route situated on the escarpment of the mighty Drakensberg Mountain Range. Visit Pilgrim's Rest, an old gold-mining town with its interesting shops, restaurants and flea-markets. As the tour continues, visit the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Gods Window. 

  • Have lunch at the forestry town of Sabie.

  • After lunch, return to our lodge to relax.

  • Overnight stay (D/B/B).

DAY 19

Explore Kruger National Park

  • An early morning departure to Kruger National Park marks the beginning of the day. Kruger National Park is the largest (about 20,000 sq km – the size of Wales) and one of the oldest parks in the world. It home to at least 150 mammal, 500 bird, 115 reptile, and 50 fish species.

  • Have breakfast at the first camp, Skukuza, after entering the park.

  • After breakfast, continue the game drive looking for the Big Five and many other African animals.

  • Lunch will be at another camp before you depart for your lodge in the afternoon.

  • Overnight stay (D/B/B).

DAY 20

Centurion Pretoria

  • After breakfast, drive to Lydenburg via the Long Tom Pass where most of the Anglo/Boer wars were fought during 1899 to 1902. Enjoy the gorgeous views as you pass through the highest situated town ( 2,077 meters above sea-level at the railway station) in South Africa namely Dullstroom, known for fabulous souvenir shops and restaurants.

  • Continue the journey to Pretoria.

  • Overnight stay (B/B).

DAY 21

End of the tour

  • After breakfast, check out as now you will be taken out for a tour to Soweto and Apartheid Museum (arranged at an additional cost). In the afternoon, you will be transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your flight journey to your next destination.
