07.30 - 8.00: Get picked up by your Vietnamese tour guide at the hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter in an AC bus.

After a 20-minute break en-route, stop on the banks of the Yen River and set sail for a 50-minute boat cruise to the Perfume Pagoda, one of Vietnam's most important temple complexes. A trip to Perfume Pagoda will bring happiness, health and success to your life. 

Soak up the scenery while you cruise to the temples, passing a stunning panorama of lush rice paddies, riverside villages, and serene waterways. On arrival, hop out and either embark on a 1.25-mile (2km) hike to the mountaintop Huong Tich Cave or ride the cable car (extra cost). 

At the top, take time to explore the sacred Buddhist temple, situated in a dramatic cave filled with shrines, and marvel at the views over the surrounding countryside.

12.30 pm: Head back down the mountain to enjoy lunch (included) with local dishes at a local restaurant. 

After lunch, there's time to admire the Thien Tru Pagoda. The architectural style is known as "5 entrances with 3 steps ". Besides, you have a chance to take plenty of photos before returning to Hanoi by boat and bus. 

18.30: Head back to your hotel in Hanoi.
