3 Hours Walking tour itinerary for New Orleans: Discover The History Of St. Louis Cemetery
Do this tour of one of the oldest cemeteries at this Louisiana city; the St. Louis Cemetery which consists of above-ground vaults that were constructed during the 18th and 19th centuries. See ancient tombs, and know the real reason we "bury" above-ground!
Meet: Pirates at Alley Cafe.
Walk: Through the French Quarter to St. Louis #1.
Arrive and do the Tour Cemetery (for an hour).
Use restroom, sit-down in AC room at Visitors Center (about 15 min).
Walk to St. Louis # 2.
Arrive and continue the Tour Cemetery (about 1/2 hour).
Walk to the famous local's bar for restroom use, food, fun and 2-4-1 beverages!

Louis #1 established in 1789 we will see the tombs of nationally historic personas, Vodou practitioners, movie sites and discuss the REAL reason we "bury" above-ground! In addition, my tour takes you where NO OTHER tour goes! After a brief stop at the visitors' centre, we make our way to St. Louis #2, established in 1823, to view three blocks of amazing architecture, more historic characters and an experience few tourists ever see.
