Meet the Maasai tribe and spend the day at a traditional Maasai village in Tanzania. Experience the warm hospitality of the Maasai people, listen to their stories, and learn about their history at the local museum.     • Meet the local tour guide at 8 am in Moshi (or Arusha) and drive to Olpopongi in the West Kilimanjaro region, 74 kilometres away. Depending on the season, you will get to see wild zebras and elephants along with amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru during the two-hour drive.
    • Reach Olpopongi before lunch. The local Masai tribes will welcome you with a traditional song and dance. 
    • Walk around the village and check in to the hut where you will spend the night.
    • Proceed to the museum and learn about the Maasai people's local history, social organization and occupation.
    • Later, enjoy a traditional Tanzanian lunch before meeting a midwife and herbalist in one of the Maasai huts.
    • Go for a bushwalk and discover various kinds of endemic plants that the tribals use in their daily lives.
    • End the day with a barbeque and bonfire session near the traditional Maasai huts. 
    • Drive back to Moshi after the tour ends.
