Explore Tanzania’s expansive Serengeti on this 4-day wildlife safari. Explore the home to an abundance of wildlife and the impressive wildebeest migration. Watch how the herds of wildebeest and zebra outsmart the giant Nile crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing predators waiting on the other side.

  • Day 1 - Arrival Airport to Arusha expand_more
    • Meet the representative on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. 
    • Transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay. If you arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, the drive to the hotel in Arusha will take about 45 mins, a distance of around 50Kms.
  • Day 2 - Arusha To Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • After breakfast, you will meet an office representative/tour guide for a briefing about your safari, then take 2 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. 
    • Along the way, take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with ancient baobab trees, nomadic people (Masai) in their colourful dresses walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkeys’ carts and traditional Maasai houses.
    • This drive will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so that you can view the Ngorongoro Crater on the way.
    • Stop for a picnic lunch on the way, then proceeds to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. 
    • Later in the late afternoon, drive to the Tented Camp.

    Dinner and an overnight stay.  

  • Day 3 - Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Wake up early so you can depart for a full day of game viewing, moving with the herds across the plains and exploring the Great Wildebeest Migration in the northern part toward the Mara River. An impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. If you would also like to spot the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo) in one park, the Serengeti is the place to be.
    • In the evening, you will drive back to your Tented Camp.

    Dinner and an overnight stay. 

  • Day 4 - Serengeti to Airport expand_more
    • After breakfast, you will proceed with packed lunch for an early morning game drive between 08:00 - 10:00 hours. 
    • After completing an early game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim while enjoying a game drive en route.
    • You will proceed with the drive to Airport for the return flight.

What to bring
  • BACKPACK: It's always handy to have a more manageable bag (small backpack or duffle bag) that you can have with you in the vehicle.
  • SUNGLASSES: A must for sunny safari tours.
  • HAT: A good hat is a great way to avoid nasty burns or heatstroke.
  • SUNSCREEN AND LIP BALM: To protect from the sometimes-strong sun, especially in elevated areas and on game safaris.
  • INSECT REPELLENT: To chill during sunsets and especially at night, you must pack insect repellents.
  • BINOCULARS: On some occasions, you want a closer look, and if you have your binoculars, you can see more details. Usually, we also have at least two binoculars by vehicle, but to be safe, you can bring your own.
  • PLUG ADAPTORS: Africa is generally 3-prong round or square, like the UK.
  • MEDICATIONS.: Please don't forget to carry any prescribed medicine or, eventually, any other needed medicine. Allergy remedies, pain relievers, rehydration salts like Liquid I.V., antiseptic creams, motion sickness tablets (Dramamine), heartburn remedies, anti-diarrhoea medicine, and cold/flu tablets.
