Embark on a safari to Ruaha National Park, famous for its large variety of birds and animals and experience game drives daily in search of animals such as impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, lions, and cheetahs, among others. Also, get a chance to see birds such as Crested Barbet, Dickinson's kestrel, Pale-billed Hornbill, Kingfishers, Bee-eaters and Egrets.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfers to Ruaha expand_more
At 05:30 hours, you will be picked up from your residence in Morogoro, or at 08:30 hours, if your accommodation is in Iringa.
Drive to Ruaha National Park.
When you arrive at the park, check-in and refresh your accommodation.
Go for evening and sunset game drives.

Day 2: Ruaha National Park expand_more
Leave at 06:30 hours to go for sunrise game drives.
Have breakfast within the park.
Continue with a game drive while searching for wild animals around different park locations till lunch break.
After lunch and a little rest within the park, you will continue with the game drive till around 18:30 hours, and that will be the end of a full day of game drives. Animals that you can expect to see include but are not limited to buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, different plants and reptiles species.
Enjoy birdwatching. Ruaha National Park is inhabited by over 450 different bird species, including some endemics such as the Ashy starling and the Yellow-collared Lovebird. The resident birds of the Ruaha National Park are the Crested Barbet, Dickinson's kestrel, Pale-billed Hornbill, Violet-crested turaco, Racket-tailed roller, Plovers, Kingfishers, Hornbills, Green-wood hoopoes, Sunbirds, Bee-eaters and Egrets.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Park Bandas.

Day 3: Sunrise game drives and transfer to Morogoro/Iringa expand_more
Early in the morning, you will leave for sunrise game drives before having breakfast.
After game drives, return to Morogoro with a lunch stop at Iringa.
When you arrive at Morogoro/Iringa town, you will be dropped off at your residency, and that will be the end of a 3-day safari.

Know before you go
Ruaha National Park is visited by Eurasian migrants twice a year – from October to November and from March to April. Among the migrants in the Ruaha National Park, you can see the Sooty Falcon, whose breeding grounds are in the Sahara and in the Middle East, and the Eleonora's Falcon, whose breeding grounds are in the Mediterranean.
It is also inhabited by birds of prey such as Pel's fishing owl, the African hawk, the Bateleur, and Eagles such as the Long-crested, Martial and Snake-eagles.
