Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve expand_more
Get picked up from the airport or hotel in Dar es Salaam, and begin to drive down south of Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve; the drive shall take 4 to 5 hours.
Arrive in time for lunch, at around 4 pm in the evening.
Depart for an adventurous and romantic evening sunset boat safari along the great Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles and birds, and enjoy the spectacular sundown.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Exploring Selous Game Reserve expand_more
After early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in a 4×4 modified safari vehicle with a professional guide in the Selous Game Reserve, exploring the game in the surrounding areas from your seat on an open-roofed vehicle; a comfortable and privileged journey through the wild African bush.
See any of the major African great favourite mammals, including elephant, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebra and even the rare African Wild Dog.
Picnic lunch shall be provided in the mid-day whereby your guide will select a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink – a place with a clear view all around so that no predator can creep up hidden.
Before the end of the day, return to the lodge, and the rest of the evening will be spent at your own leisure.
Dinner and overnight at the Safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Exploring Selous Game Reserve expand_more
Have an early breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive in a 4×4 modified safari vehicle with a professional guide in the Selous Game Reserve.
Spot the major African great favourite mammals, including elephant, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebra and even the rare African Wild Dog.
Enjoy your picnic lunch in the mid-day at a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink.
Before the end of the day, return to the lodge, and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park expand_more
After early morning breakfast, leave Selous with a picnic lunch to enjoy our game drive.
Proceed to Mikumi National Park which is nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the northeast, and the Rubeho Mountains, Udzungwa Mountains and Rift Valley escarpment to the southwest. The landscape here is beautiful, and the wildlife prolific.
See animals like elephant, giraffe, zebra, eland, kudu, wildebeest, antelope, lion, leopard, and an amazing range of colourful birds.
Overnight at the Safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Mikumi National Park expand_more
Go on a full day game drive around Mikumi National Park. The park is very rich in varieties of bird species as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards and hippos.
Also, spot other interesting animals like zebras, wild dogs, pythons, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelopes.

Day 6: Drive to Ruaha National Park expand_more
After early morning breakfast, leave Mikumi with a picnic lunch to Ruaha National Park.
From Mikumi, the road ascends along the Great Ruaha River up on the high plateau where the city Iringa is situated.
Stop in Iringa for lunch and visit the local market.
In the late afternoon, arrive at the Safari Lodge or Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ruaha National Park expand_more
Embark on a full-day game drive with picnic lunches at Ruaha, the largest park and second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania.
Spot a number of hippos and crocodiles on the great Ruaha River. The wide variety of animals that inhabit the park includes both Greater and Lesser Kudu, roan and sable antelope. Birdlife is also rich, with over 370 species recorded.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Day 8: Ruaha to Dar es Salaam expand_more
After enjoying your breakfast in the morning, drive back to Dar es Salaam for the drop off at your hotel or airport.
