Take this unique safari trip to encounter the wildlife and culture of Tanzania. Visit Tanzania’s premier wildlife parks such as Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. Go local at the traditional Hadzabe, Datoga, and Maasai villages, where you hike with warriors to the top of the Rift Valley, cycle past farmlands, and spend time with local families. 

DAY 01

Welcome to Arusha, Tanzania : 15 Days Adventure Safari Tanzania

  • Arrive in Arusha at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you are welcomed by our representative who will usher you into a waiting vehicle and take you to the outpost lodge in Arusha.

  • Have a short safari briefing session with the tour representative at the lodge, relax and have dinner.

DAY 02

Arusha town/ community tour for acclimatization.

  • Today, you will indulge in community activities, that include a visit to the local Maasai market, the Snake park in the outskirts of Arusha and the Children’s Orphanage that we support. 

  • Late in the noon/evening return to your Hotel for rest, dinner and overnight at Outpost lodge.

DAY 03

Arusha National Park

  • After breakfast you will be met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566 m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and 3 kms wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago!

  • You will enjoy lunch at the Momela view picnic site, and do an exciting morning game drive and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen includes African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. 

  • Late afternoon we depart to the outpost lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04

Lake Manyara

  • Our Tanzanian safari starts at 8:30 as we drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch en route. 

  • We enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the first of the six Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion.

  • Overnight stay at Bougainvillea Lodge.

DAY 05

Manyara – Lake Natron

  • After breakfast at the Lodge, you will be on your way to Lake Natron which is the breeding site for the lesser and greater flamingos who migrate here every year from as far as Lake Nakuru, and Baringo in Kenya.

  • On your way, you will view Masai villages and after an hour you will be at Engaruka village where we will have a brief stop to visit the Engaruka ruins. These are ruins of an ancient mysterious city with confiscated irrigation canals that are believed to be more than five hundred years old. You will be shown the canals and remnants of the buildings and graves.

  • Thereafter you will be on your way again to Lake Natron, with views of more Maasai villages and wildlife; arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.

  • After lunch at the lodge and short rest you will go for a walk at the Lake and based on water levels, you can take a dip or go for a boat ride. You will have the chance to walk upstream of the Ngaresero River up to the waterfalls. On your walk upstream you are likely to encounter monkeys and baboons along the way.

  • In the afternoon you can go for a sun downer at the Lake Natron.

  • Overnight stay at Lake Natron tented camp.

DAY 06

Lake Natron- Serengeti

  • Start the day with a walk at the Lake again and leave for the Serengeti National Park.

  • Cross the Loliondo Game Controlled area where the wildebeest’s herds cross on and around November and December when they are coming from Masai Mara in Kenya.

  • After the registration formalities at the Klein’s Gate, go for a game drive in the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park (on your way to the lodge) where you will get the chance to see lots of animals and bird life alike. Animals that can be seen here include zebras, buffaloes, baboons, topi, impalas, cheetahs, leopards and Rhinos.

  • Overnight stay and dinner at Katikati tented lodge.


DAY 07

Full day in Serengeti Park

  • At daybreak, go out to the Serengeti plains for a sunrise game drive that normally offers the only chance of sighting the nocturnal species retiring and also the diurnal species waking up to a new day before you go back for breakfast. 

  • After breakfast, leave for a full day of game drives exploring the Serengeti park. Depending on the season and time of the year, this is where you will witness the ‘Great Migration’ where one and a half million wildebeests accompanied by hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras brave the crocodile-infested rivers and cross the border into the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of green pastures and water. The resident animals and birds that stay all year round in Serengeti make sure that the park is a must visit whenever one travels to Tanzania.

  • Later in the afternoon, drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay at Katikati tented lodge.

DAY 08

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

  • 8:00 am drive to Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Check in to your Luxury Camp perched high on the crater rim

  • Enjoy lunch. 

  • Descend the crater walls and spend the afternoon and early evening viewing wildlife on the crater floor.

  • Overnight at Rhino Lodge. Meals are included.

DAY 09

Full day, Ngorongoro Crater

  • Start early in morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. 


  • Locate hidden animals with the help of your guide and driver.

  • After the exploration in the crater, drive back to the lodge.

  • Overnight and dinner at Rhino Lodge.

DAY 10

Ngorongoro – Eyasi

  • Begin by heading to the Lake Eyasi area for a cultural encounter of a lifetime. Eyasi is the home of a hunter-gatherer tribe known as the Hadzabe people with who have stood all the odds of westernization and still leave the ancient way of making a living through hunting animals and gathering fruits and tubers for food. The Hadzabes are a small ethnic group that has been able to co-exist harmoniously with nature. You will have the chance to meet also the Datoga people a small tribe also with a rich cultural heritage.

  • This cultural day is concluded by a wonderful sunset at the Lake Eyasi and if you are lucky to have visited after the long rains, you can take a dip in the lake.

  • Overnight stay at Kisimangeda Tented lodge.

DAY 11

Lake Eyasi – Tarangire National Park – Arusha – Zanzibar.

  • Experience a traditional hunting session with the Bushmen early morning. 

  • Have breakfast and check out from the lodge.

  • Drive to Tarangire National Park which is the third largest National Park in Tanzania.

  • After registration formalities, go for a full day of game drives in this fabulous National Park highlighted with the gigantic Baobab trees and abnormally large herds of elephants. At Tarangire, you will have the chance to sight the rare Oryx, and other animals the likes of zebras, giraffes, warthogs, leopards, cheetahs etc.

  • Visit the Tarangire river which nurtures this national park. 

  • Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for a flight to Zanzibar.

DAY 12

Day 12 – 14: Full leisure days in Zanzibar

  • Full day Spice and prison Island tour. The full-day tour will take you to the most scenic parts of the Old Town. This culturally rich town got its name from the use of coral stone as the main construction ingredient. Being the oldest town in East Africa, the historical roots and influences can be felt at every turn of the tour.

  • Starting from the House of Wonders which is one of the prominent landmarks of Stone Town, proceed on to the Palace Museum which was a Sultan’s residence. The Arab Fort, the Dr. Livingstone House, Fred Mercury’s home and the pub and Hamamni Persian baths are just a few of the many attractions in this relic of a town.

  • Explore further on your own or relax during the free time in the afternoon.

  • Depart from the hotel for a sunset cruise along Stone Town waterfront.

  • Stop at Forodhani Gardens for a glance at the evening life.

  • Have dinner and overnight stay at Stone Town hotel. 

DAY 13
