Come upon this national park whose name is derived from the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern margin. More than 571 species of birds have been identified in the park; other noted animals found in the park are lions, East African cheetah, leopards, giraffes, elephants, and hippos.

    • Get picked up from your hotel/ airport and start to drive to Ruaha National Park which is approximately 2 hours.

    • On arrival, move onto game drive and picnic lunch in the park.

    • Later, you will go to the lodge.

    • With picnic lunch, you will go for a full day game drive in Ruaha National Park with your Ruaha safari guide/driver.

    • Return to the lodge after the sunset.

    • Rise up for an early morning walking safari along the great Ruaha River accompanied by armed rangers, and back to the lodge.

    • Take a short break during the day at the lodge, and late afternoon, you will go for a short game drive until sunset.

    • After breakfast, start to drive to Iringa.
