    • Reach Muganza/Nkome Bay, which is about four hours from Mwanza, and then take a 30-minute speed boat ride to Rubondo Island National Park.

    • Go for a Game drive and try to spot wild animals.

    • Check out the unique diversity of flora and fauna on the Island.

    • Try bird-watching here as Rubondo is a paradise for bird-lovers with nearly 400 species documented on the island.

    Overnight stay in Rubondo Tented Camp or Bandas.

  • Day 2: Rubondo Island National Park expand_more

    • Take a boat ride through Lake Victoria and try spotting water animals, including hippos and crocodiles.

    • Try bird-watching.

    • Go on a walking safari in the National Park and spot otters, bushbucks, elephants, giraffes, colobus monkeys, velvet monkeys, colobus, genet, marsh mongoose, antelopes and the omnipresent sitatunga.

    • Embark on a Chimpanzee tracking expedition. 

    • Return to the Rubondo Island Camp for dinner and overnight stay. 

  • Day 3: Rubondo Island- Mwanza expand_more

    • Go for a morning walk in the National Park.

    • Have brunch at 10:30, followed by a drive to the ranger’s post from where you can take a boat ride to the mainland.

    • Drive back to Mwanza and depart for your destination.
